We have had a lot of people asking about where they can get or sign petitions to get the gerrymandering issue on the ballot. This would take the task of drawing district maps away from the politicians who currently create the unfair gerrymandered maps and create a nonpartisan commission to draw district maps that are a fairer representation of the voters in Ohio.

On Friday, Dec. 1, Debbie Schmieding from the Athens League of Women Voters, will be at our headquarters from 10:00-12:00.to sign out petitions for those who are willing to circulate them.

Later that evening, you are invited to stop by headquarters from 4:00-7:00 to sign that petition, as well as petitions for Sherrod Brown, Supreme Court Justice candidates, and electors to the Democratic convention.

We will also be collecting items to replenish our giving tree in the park, or items for the Win Beri residents who have been displaced. Thank you in advance for your support.
